SERVICE:-

Joined 1/6 Bm. Royal Warwickshire Regiment (TA) based at Thorp Street on 24th May 1912. Served in France from April 1915 to 1918 and then in Italy.

Wounded twice, the second wound resulting in the loss of his left arm.     

 
REMEMBERED by:-

A quiet man who provided a stable upbringing for his sons and one daughter.

As was common with his generation he never mentioned the horrors of the war.
